About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate Trainee Courier Allocator to join our close-knit team on a permanent full-time basis.
You will be provided on the job training for the role of Courier Allocator which includes:
- Allocating ad-hoc courier work to our fleet of contract drivers via Transport Management Software
- Managing, leading, and supporting our contract drivers to carry out their role with safety and efficiency
- Troubleshooting any transport issues or incidents as they arise
- Answering incoming phone calls & responding to emails from internal and external stakeholders
- Processing inter/intrastate/national movements
- Maintaining accurate records for all freight movement
About You
As the successful candidate, you should have:
- Thorough knowledge of Sydney suburbs and surrounding areas
- Possible proven courier experience covering entire Sydney metro region
- Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to change quickly
- Confidence to deal with clients on a regular basis with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
