Clinical Labs WA has been serving the local community for over 80 years and provides diagnostic services to a number of hospitals and specialists as well as general practitioners. We have six medical laboratories, over 150 collection centers and a team of more than 700 who are committed to partnering with our referrers to provide accurate and timely results and high quality, patient centered care.

About the role

We are seeking an experience, self-motived, solutions based Courier Manager. This full-time role will manage the Courier Department of the WA division of Clinical Labs.  This includes ensuring allocation of pickups to ensure all samples are collected in a timely manner, management of courier staff, customer service to our clients (both internal and external) and managing the Courier budget.

About you

  • You will have experience in a senior courier or logistics role
  • You will have good interpersonal skills-works well with others, motivates, encourages, establishes rapport and develops strong working relationships
  • Excellent time management - able to manage time effectively with multiple competing priorities and demands.
  • Demonstrates agility and making changes required to meet the demands and requirements of the business
  • Excellent understanding of computers and technology relevant to the role
  • Current drivers licence, with a safe driving history
  • Current police clearance (within last 3 months)
  • Strategic planning/ lateral thinker: entertains wide-ranging possibilities in developing a vision for the future, able to analyse research data, and translates strategic direction into day-to-day activities
