Job description

Australian Clinical Labs is one of Australia's most respected pathology providers. We are currently Australia's third largest specialist pathology provider focussed on innovative thinking and emerging technologies, as well as developing close business relationships and providing tailored solutions that will benefit our partners, practitioners and patients.

Clinical Labs WA has been serving the local community for over 80 years and provides diagnostic services to a number of hospitals and specialists as well as general practitioners. We have six medical laboratories, over 150 collection centres and a team of more than 700 who are committed to partnering with our referrers to provide accurate and timely results and high quality, patient centred care.

About the role

This fulltime positions will suit self-motivated individuals who can demonstrate attention to detail, along with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on outstanding customer service.

If successful, you will be provided with clinical training and support which includes all the necessary PPE (personal protective equipment) to perform your role to the highest levels of safety. 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Correspondence with clients via email and phone
  • Monitoring daily runs
  • Dispatching stops to daily runs
  • Organising daily deliveries via Toll
  • Cover any urgent pickups or runs 
  • Management of daily roster 

To be considered for these roles, you must possess:

  • Current driver’s license 
  • Availability to work any shift Monday to Saturday Night or Day
  • Ability to use Microsoft software
  • A demonstrated safe driving history and adherence to safe driving practices
  • High attention to detail and experience working in a fast pace environment
  • An enthusiastic and flexible approach to work
  • Experience working with a team with an excellent geographical knowledge of the Perth Metro region
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative with excellent problem solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written & verbal)
  • Punctual & Reliable
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to dispatch and booking system
  • Rights to work in Australia

All appointments are subject to proof of eligibility to work in Australia, National Police Clearance (less than 3 months old) and immunisation to Hep B, influenza, pertussis and measles/mumps/rubella if in hospital or domiciliary roles.  As a healthcare provider, Clinical Labs requires all new employees to be fully vaccinated against COV-19. If successful, we will ask for proof of immunisation accordingly for our records.
