Kareela Golf Club is seeking General Hand/ Horticulturist – who has the skills and experience to assist the Club achieve its Vision.
Applicants must have appropriate industry qualifications and understand what is required to present a high-quality golf course and can deliver an exceptional playing experience.
The Course General Hand/ Horticulturist should be highly driven and possess exceptional skills and be able to work in a positive culture and team.
The Club has a management structure and there is no committee.
The successful candidate will report to the Superintendent.

Kareela Golf Club was established in 1969. located in Sutherland Shire Sydney NSW.
The Course is a par 65 golf course, measuring just over 4,600 metres, features 19 holes.

We will deliver a superior golfing, Member & Social experience so that Players recognise Kareela Golf as a Golf Club of choice in the Sutherland Shire.
General Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, fertilising and watering to ensure optimal playing conditions.
- Implement turf management programs, including pest control and weed eradication, to maintain the health and appearance of greens, fairways and roughs.
- Operate and maintain golf course equipment and machinery to ensure their proper functionality.
- Collaborate with the team to execute course improvement projects, such as bunker renovation and landscaping enhancements.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the golf course.
- Actively contribute ideas for continuous improvement and innovative approaches to enhance the overall golfing experience.
