About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to step up and contribute to the delivery of Maritime Warfare Training to the Royal Australian Navy. You will be required to coordinate, schedule, and implement training programs in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You can manage multiple stakeholders and resource requirements to achieve optimum training outcomes.

Multiple roles available to be based in either Sydney, NSW

Responsibilities

·       Coordinate, schedule and implement training programs in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

·       Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for coordination and allocation of training resources and support services.

·       Coordinate and contribute to content/document review cycles with stakeholders and subject matter experts.

·       Participate in quality assurance reviews of training deliverables.

·       Contribute to innovative training design and development activities for improved training outcomes.

·       Contribute to the administration requirements of a Learning Management System

·       Foster a positive relationship with our client and the Serco team that is focused on contemporary learning solutions

·       Manage and deliver training development projects and initiatives.

Requirements

       Essential:

·       Must be an Australian Citizen and currently hold or can obtain an Australian Government Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance

·       Experience in working within the Defence industry or as uniformed member

·       Experience creating and managing complex schedules

·       Excellent oral and written communication skills

·       Excellent stakeholder management skills

·       High level of ability to use the Microsoft Office suite

·       Ability to produce high quality work within tight timeframes

       Desirable:

·       2+ years in a learning and development environment, including using and administering technologies in training

·       Knowledge of Defence training and personnel management processes and systems

·       Understanding of RAN Fleet Scheduling and ability to interpret associated documentation

·       Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent

·       Experience in utilising and administering Learning Management Systems

·       Experience in scheduling projects and/or complex work rosters

·       Experience in the use of SADL

·       Experience in operational use of Microsoft Project
