Crane Allocator

Nationwide Crane Hire is a Family Owned Australian Business who over 25 years has gained an outstanding reputation in the Southeast Queensland Crane industry for consistently providing safe quality lifting services to all its clients. NCH have experienced significant growth over the past few years, and now boasts a fleet of over 26 operational equipment. Our fleet includes all types of mobile cranes and heavy vehicles from 3T to 150T Crawler Cranes through to 120T All Terrain units, Access Equipment, Prime Movers, Tilt Trays and Trailers. 

Nationwide Crane Hire are currently seeking a highly organised and detailed orientated Crane and Transport Allocator to join our team based in our Kallangur yard. Reporting to the Operations Manager you'll play a key role in optimising fleet operations, allocating resources efficiently and drive company growth.

This is a pivotal role within the company, and we are looking for someone who will be committed to this role with a professional can do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the efficient allocation of jobs, cranes and staff, ensuring effective communication with drivers, internal team members and customers on a day to day basis.
• Maximise the efficient use of Cranes, Transport and Access Equipment.
• Performance manage all Cranes and Equipment.
• Resolve any concerns or delays that may arise during the course of business.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Continuously evaluate and improve transportation processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. 

Skills and Requirements:

• Crane allocation experience is essential as is a good working knowledge of Brisbane and Sunshine Coast suburbs.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and meet deadlines.
• Show initiative and take direction to achieve efficiency goals.
• Ability to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication - written and verbal.
• Knowledge in the Crane Hire and Transport industry is essential. 
• Knowledge in crane lifts (preferred but not essential).
• Experience using ServiceM8 (preferred but not essential)
• Basic Microsoft Office experience and clear communications skills.
• A positive and energetic attitude.
• Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic in a diverse, fast-moving, and ever-changing environment. 
• Ability to work Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday.
