Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Crane Technician to join our team on the north-side of Brisbane. This role involves performing routine maintenance, inspections, and fault finding on overhead cranes and vehicle-loading cranes. The successful candidate will be a crucial part of our 24/7 breakdown service, participating in an on-call roster.
The position calls for mainly mechanical qualifications however Mechanical/ Electrical would be a major advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on overhead and vehicle-loading cranes.
- Perform inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults to minimise downtime.
- Produce detailed service records and reports using ServiceM8 and IAuditor.
- Participate in an on-call roster to support our 24/7 breakdown service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest standards of service.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
- Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in crane maintenance and repair (EOT'S or VLC's or both)
- Strong problem-solving and fault finding skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid drivers licence.
- Scissor Lift/ EWP ticket desirable
