Employment Type: Ongoing / Part-time 3-4 days a week
Salary: $88,000 per annum full time equivalent, plus super and NFP salary packaging
As a Creative Arts Therapist, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing Creative Arts therapy programs for participants with disabilities, harnessing the transformative power of art to enhance emotional well-being and foster personal growth. Bring your passion for the arts and therapeutic expertise to create a nurturing and inclusive environment, where each participant can explore self-expression and cultivate their unique abilities.
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:
- Masters in Art Therapy
- Professional registration with ANZACATA
- Excellent understanding of art therapy skills and best practices
- Understanding, interest and commitment to the rights of people with disabilities and those from culturally diverse and indigenous backgrounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written communication, organisational and time management skills
Desired skills:
- Intermediate Auslan skills
- Excellent knowledge of deafblindness and other complex disabilities
