The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Creative and Content Producer. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, creating, and implementing high-quality visual content for The Bend and Mallala Motorsport Park. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will ensure timely capture of relevant content and meet visual content requirements to a high standard. Additionally, you will serve as a major creative resource across all brands for the motorsport parks and be responsible for the creation, curation, production, and implementation of visual content across various platforms, including online, print, and venue-based (print and digital).

The Bend

The Bend is one of the most significant developments in Australian motorsport history.  A state of the art, world-class motorsport facility, The Bend delivers an exhilarating experience for competitors, enthusiasts and spectators alike.   Conveniently located one hour from Adelaide and only half a day’s drive from Melbourne. The Bend is one of a kind in providing all motorsport disciplines ‘through the one gate.’ including circuit racing for cars and motorcycles, Australia’s only purpose-built drift circuit, a CIK-FIA standard karting circuit, a rallycross circuit, an international Group 1 dragway, driver training facilities, vehicle testing facilities, a 4WD terrain park and a rally/off-road facility.

Mallala

Born in 1961 with the purpose of hosting the Australian Grand Prix, Mallala Motorsport Park is the historical home of motorsport in South Australia. Mallala hosted national events for many decades including the Australian Touring Car Championship, Australian Sports Car Championship, Shannons Nationals, and Formula 2 racing.  Aside from racing, the 2.6km circuit is now utilised for driver training and experiences, car and motorcycle practice, drifting, and the annual All Historic Mallala race meeting. Go karting is a recent addition to the venue, having commenced operations at the start of June 2022.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Create visual artwork/creative as and when required in adherence to the brand style guide / Graphic Design
• Capture and edit photographic content for the entire venue across a variety of themes (incl. general venue presentation, events, motorsport, karting, accommodation, dining, corporate, experiences …etc)
• Capture, edit and produce video content for SVPMP and Mallala across all precincts, including events and BAU activities
• Assist the marketing team in managing the media centre at self-promoted events held at The Bend.
• Manage implementation of visual content across the venue and across online platforms and internal digital systems
• Update (and wherever needed recreate pre-existing print and digital) collateral and venue signage

• Manage creative jobs that have been outsourced

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Work with the Motorsport Reception team to ensure that they are across all ticketing events, FAQ’s and operationally assist with inquiries
• Assist with Driver Experiences including the Driver Experience Program at SVPMP and Dragway

The successful candidate will possess:

• Strong graphic design skills and experience creating visual artwork in adherence to brand style guidelines
• Proficiency in capturing and editing photographic content
• Experience in capturing, editing, and producing video content for different platforms, including events and day-to-day activities
• Experience in managing the implementation of visual content across different channels, including online platforms and internal digital systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the marketing team and other stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
