Job description

About the Job

We are on the lookout for an outgoing and eager individual to join our Going North team as Creative Project Manager. Based full-time in Darwin, the role is responsible for managing client relationships and leading the successful execution of Creative Projects from launch to completion.

You will work closely with the Senior Creative & Client Lead (who happens to be a dead-set legend) and integrated agency teams across Bolster Group (the best in the biz), to oversee content production and delivery for our retained clients within the arts, education and government industries (to mention just a few). Your ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with clients, internal teams and our freelance network will be crucial to supporting the Going North agency through its next phase of growth.

As a key player in the creation of social and digital content, you will be responsible for both pre-production, on-ground production and post-production tasks. Your expertise in negotiating talent fees, monitoring budgets and coordinating with creative teams will ensure that we produce cutting-edge, social-first content that resonates with audiences.

In addition to your account management and content production duties, you will contribute to the refinement of our internal processes, assist with resource planning and provide all-round assistance to the Going North team. If you are passionate about delivering exciting projects and outstanding client experiences, and you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you.

Our Culture

Best described by our values, which serve as the guiding principles in how we interact with our peers, partners and clients:

  • Eyes on culture. We connect our clients to culture and current affairs, immersing ourselves in the communities we serve. We know everything they need to know.
  • We turn up. In a presentation. At a launch. At an event. In a WIP. For our clients and teammates, every day.
  • We roll with the punches. We know the nature of this work is unpredictable. We do our best work when we’re thrown a curveball, or dive into the deep end.
  • We keep it real. You can’t fake what we do. We strip away the BS and build trusting relationships. Knowledge, transparency, authenticity – this is what we’re about.
  • It’s in our hands. We take responsibility, stay one step ahead, push outside our comfort zone and never phone it in. We’d rather fail trying something new than die wondering.

  • Multiple trips to remote areas of the NT
  • Support, guidance, and growth including an annual learning and development budget
  • Fortnightly ‘Bolster Uni’ sessions featuring both internal and external speakers

We believe that diversity of thought, skills, experiences and background create more effective and successful teams. We promise equal opportunity for all applicants, irrespective of gender, age, ethnicity, cultural background, race, religion, disability, or sexual orientation.

We've seen the research that women and other people in underrepresented groups tend to only apply when they tick all of the role requirement boxes. If you don’t tick all these boxes, please don’t rule yourself out. If you are excited about this role, we would love to hear from you!
