The role:

This is a role focusing on imparting Credit Coaching capability to our Small Business colleagues across Australia. It will draw on your breadth of experience while creating space for uplifting performance across the team.

Day to day responsibilities include:

• Measure, deliver and report credit capability across all working relationships via targeted coaching and capability sessions for bankers and leaders.
• Deliver credit analysis skills coaching, with an emphasis on improving the quality of credit submissions and customer outcomes.
• Implement and maintain efficient credit processing and monitoring tools and ensure that credit processing and monitoring resources are aligned to best practice.
• Ensure the most appropriate credit processes are being used to meet the requirements of the customer and align with best practice.

• The ideal candidate will be a strong coach and have a highly developed understanding of our banker platforms and processes.
• Current and/or very recent background working in Credit function with strong complex skill, and a high level of expertise in credit policy and procedure are required.
• Strong business financials skills are critical to success, coupled with demonstrated ability to connect with colleagues, particularly from a coaching and consultative manner.
• Vision and intuitive response working in a complex market and an understanding of market cycles
• Passion for coaching and strong stakeholder management
• Tertiary qualification preferably in Business, Commerce or Accounting
