We have an enticing Crew Assessor position awaiting you at the iconic KCGM Superpit that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed team in a dynamic work environment at our Open Pit Mine on the convenience of a 7:7 days only residential roster.
Here's what awaits you:
- Coordinating and delivering heavy vehicle site and area specific training, including on-line and face to face facilitation to ensure personnel are appropriately trained and upskilled to the correct level in order to complete all required tasks of their operating position, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Working primarily in an office based environment, with frequent and regular field work and in-field support.
- Monitoring the area training budget and reconciling payments made to external training service providers to ensure accurate representation of training costs.
- Assisting in the creation, review and modification of work instructions and procedures.
- Conducting relevant area orientations for all contractors and new employees.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Experience:
Essential
- Solid practical experience as either a Trainer or Operator in a Mining Environment
- An understanding of operational strategies and how personnel can impact operational performance
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a changing workload
- Excellent computer literacy to enable record management utilising Microsoft and site specific programs
- Must reside within the Goldfields region, or be willing to relocate for our residential operation
Preferred
- Experience in facilitation of training material
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Experience with document writing including procedures and creating of work instructions
Qualifications:
Must have a Certificate IV Trainer Assessor and a Current Unencumbered Western Australian "C" Class Drivers Licence.
