About the position:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Criminal Lawyer to join their team. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload and handle a diverse range of Criminal Law matters, benefiting from a flexible and supportive work environment that values work-life Balance and family life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a personal caseload of Criminal Law matters from inception to resolution
• Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
• Attend court appearances and advocate on behalf of clients
• Liaise with clients, court staff, and other legal professionals
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations

Key Requirements:

• Admission as a legal practitioner in Queensland
• Proven experience in Criminal Law with the ability to manage your own caseload
• Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards
