Will you be part of the energy solution?Job DescriptionThis is a Pivotal role running the Geelong refinery, scheduling the arrival and delivery of crudes and feedstock’s (including chemical feeds) ensuring availability in the necessary quantities and qualities to meet commitments and product quality constraints, optimise stock and asset utilisation.You will love problem solving and thinking on your feet as you take proactive actions to optimize refinery units and mitigate the effects of the early or late arrival of shipments. The refinery Crude Scheduler actively contributes to Crude Acceptance Matrix (CAM) and Crude approval activities.This position is responsible for scheduling the crude and solvents production units in line with agreed Production Plan, you will have direct influence over the daily refinery production, and this includes crude rates, blending and downstream unit operation.Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualified with a background in engineering, science or business major,
  • Strong commercial experience with exposure to forecasting, planning and scheduling across supply chain operations.
  • Possess excellent time management and organisational skills and be experienced in juggling multiple events with the ability to prioritise completing tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Be adept at Building cooperative working relationships, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
  • A capable lateral thinker with well-developed analytical and pro-active problems solving skills.
