Crusher Plant Maintenance Fitter

Position available for Crusher fitter on fixed and mobile plant.

This role is a 2:1 roster day/night/off.

This is an excellent opportunity to upskill or broaden your trades background into a specialist role that is in high demand in the mining and resources sector.

You will ideally have: 

• Mechanical Trade Qualification, such as Light Vehicle Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, Fitter Machinist, Diesel Fitter, Fabricator, Welder/Boilermaker.
• Strong natural mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose faults through observation and deduction.
• Valid HR driver's license - Desirable.
• Working at Heights, Confined Space and EWP tickets - Desirable.
• Basic welding skills – Desirable. 
• Previous experience in a similar industry, such as heavy manufacturing, automotive, heavy engineering, automated process plants etc.
• Experience with conveyors highly desirable. 
• Ability to travel to regional and remote projects on a FIFO arrangement.
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
• Ability to pass industry standard medical.
• Experience with operating earthmoving equipment – Desirable.
