Cape Crushing and Screening business are currently seeking applications from experienced Excavator/Loader operators to join our professional crushing and screening team at Tropicana Gold on a 2:1 dayshift only roster in a permanent ongoing role, with fortnightly pay periods, career progression, training, support and so much more.
To be considered for this role, it is preferred than you have:- A strong commitment to safety
- 2 years plus of operating Loaders/Excavators in a Crushing and Screening environment
- Excavator ticket
- Loader ticket
- Current HR Driving Licence (preferred) - valid (no suspensions)
- Construction Safety Induction - White Card
- National Police Clearance - dated within the last three months with required compliancy for gold minesite approval
- Working Rights in Australia
- Ability to work FIFO Ex Perth/Kalgoorlie 2/1 roster
Your role will include:- Perform manual labour when required, clearing bogged conveyor belts, shovelling, and any other labour-intensive asks as requested by the Supervisor/Leading
- Maintaining duty of care for other users and work to site specific safety requirements and occupational health and safety
- Daily work plans and Implementing and following through instructions from Supervisor/Leading Hand
- Ensuring project execution is undertaken safely to the required standards, quality and
- Preparing machines for operation, including through pre-starts and reporting all defects with A, B and C
- Loading and unloading equipment from low loaders and moving it around worksites.
- Selecting, changing and operating special attachments such as winches, scrub clearers, rippers, pile drivers and rock-breaking
- Working under the direction of
- Breaking up paving, rock and similar material by operating hydraulic or pneumatic breakers.
- Operating all mobile plant in a safe and efficient manner as to maximize
- Operate all Mobile plant in a safe manner that complies with all safety requirements and not to endanger people or damage to
- Identify and remove oversized
- Loading crushers and/or trucks with excavated
- Driving machines to and from
- Assist with basic maintenance and general operation of equipment, including but not limited to: cleaning, inspections, servicing, adjustment, troubleshooting, crusher rebuilds, screen mat changes, roller and skirt replacements and repairs
