About your contribution The Chief Financial Officer's Group (CFO Group) is responsible for the delivery of fiscal management services across the organisation. Key responsibilities of the group include taxation, commercial finance, corporate accounting, capital planning, valuations, investment management, risk management and treasury. We are also accountable for the organisation’s strategic property portfolio.
The Finance Division is responsible for ensuring the financial sustainability of DHA, by supporting effective decision making, resource allocation and policy compliance for both internal and external stakeholders.
About your team In this role, you will operate in an autonomous manner and be responsible for the end-to-end management of DHA's National and Head Office Corporate contracts. This may include setting priorities and managing the workflow for departmental employee travel, fleet management, procurement administration and managing complex customer enquiries.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Ability to interpret and apply policy and procedures in a customer focused environment.
Experience implementing change to complex work issues.
Demonstrated capability in delivering exceptional customer service, and ability to engage productively with a broad cross section of stakeholders.
Excellent negotiation skills to manage more sensitive or complex matters.
Ability to create and maintain an environment in which services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
