ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
This rewarding opportunity will see you join the St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) as a Sterilising Assistant or Sterilising Technician in our CSSD department.
You will bring your passion to the role where you will work with great team to support the Perioperative Department
This role can be part time or casual and will be pivotal in the cleaning and sterilisation of instruments

ABOUT YOU:
As an outstanding member of our Sterilising team, you will be responsible for driving quality-controlled systems within the CSSD department.
Your skills will include:
- Must hold a Cert III in Sterilising Technology or equivalent to be considered for a Sterilising Technician role
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a CSSD or healthcare facility preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekend on call work
- Ability to maintain a working knowledge of relevant policies/procedures and use these in work practices.
- Demonstrated application of contemporary infection control standards and practices.

St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 189-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.
