Details: The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Section (the Section) is a team of school-based and Education Support Office staff and sits within the Education Programs and Services Branch. The Section is responsible for leading the work on embedding Cultural Integrity in ACT public schools and the Education Support Office (ESO).
As a Cultural Integrity Coordinator you will be responsible for leading and mentoring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Officers (IEOs) to support teachers and school leaders, to develop Cultural Integrity awareness and practice.
You will have high quality interpersonal and communication skills, sound problem solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
These are Canberra based positions. For interstate applicants, who are offered a permanent position, relocation reimbursement will be available in accordance with the Administrative and Related Classifications Enterprise Agreement 2023-2026.

Notes: This Is a temporary position available for a period of 12 months with the possibility of permanency. This is a designated position in accordance with s42, Discrimination Act 1991 and is only open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage is considered essential and therefore a Confirmation of Aboriginality may be requested. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
