Come and join the Grammar family in the position of Curriculum Administrator at our Senior Campus, on the beautiful grounds in Mowbray.

Reporting to the Co-Directors of Teaching & Learning, this position is a student facing role, liaising with students, staff and parents. It is responsible for high-level administrative support in the area of curriculum and learning including but not limited to; student subject selection, student reports, and examinations as well as being an expert in promoting and maintain some of our School databases.

This role is permanent, full time, 1 FTE position. The successful applicant will be working a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday, and based at our Senior Campus in Mowbray.  

Applicants will have: 

  • Business Administration Certificate IV or equivalent competency.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an administrative role or a related occupation, with a focus on customer service.
  • Advanced IT/digital technologies skills, specifically in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Prior experience using The Alpha School System (TASS) School Management System, Operoo (information distribution system) or similar is desirable. 
  • Previous experience working in a school environment would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to students, teachers and parents. 
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high standard of administrative support and ability to develop and implement effective administrative and quality processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated competency in dealing with work requiring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational skills with a proven capacity to manage multiple tasks. 
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively within team environment. 
  • Organised and proactive approach to timelines and deadlines.
  • Registration – Working with Vulnerable People (Tasmania).
  • National Police Check
  • First Aid – HLTAID012, Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting.
