Iron Edge is a leading fitness equipment supplier located in Melbourne. We also run a gym ‘Edge Training’ located in Prahran.
Iron Edge caters to a broad range of organisations such as elite sport, commercial, schools & universities, allied health, personal trainers and home gym owners. Iron Edge is at the forefront of product innovation and design, boasting a team of individuals with an interest in training and performance.
We are after an all-rounded Customer Service & Sales Operations Specialist with an interest in training to join our growing team.
Role Overview:
- The Customer Service & Sales Operations Specialist will play a key role in ensuring a seamless customer experience and efficient sales processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle customer inquiries with professionalism and support the sales team in their operations and in time, assist key clients with gym designs and fit outs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer all general inquiries by phone and email. These can include payment of orders, assisting with tracking, product questions, returns and more.
- Respond to all emails regarding tracking of deliveries or product questions.
- Process outstanding orders
- Exchanges and Refunds
- Product quality control management
- Liaise with Warehouse re all logistics functions
- Support for the Account Managers, with end to end service
- Managing work flow of quotes, orders, returns and backorders
- Reporting to key clients
- Submission of quotes and invoices
- In time, assist key clients with gym designs and fit outs
Skill Set:
- 2+ years of experience in Customer Service or Sales Operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Human Movement would be a bonus
- Experience having worked in an office, retail or something to do with transport would be desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of training and exposure to Iron Edge equipment strongly preferred
