AddressWe have an opportunity for a junior logistics or admin professional to join our Customs Team in Alexandria on a fixed-term maternity leave cover contract for approximately 12 Months with a view to permanent.
This role will be required to assist customs brokers and the team as a whole with the on time Customs and Quarantine clearance/release of import consignments.
What will your day involve?
- Work closely with our experienced team of Customs Brokers and operators to ensure the on-time delivery of Customs and Quarantine clearance/release of consignments
- Provide precise customs declaration information, collaborating closely with importers/clients
- Manage the flow of documentation, including registration, classification, and compilation
- Compile paperwork and ensure relevant systems are updated with accurate and timely information
- Provide general administrative support to Customs Team
- Invoicing and preparation of various reports as required
- Liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
