Our federal government client is seeking a talented and driven Cyber Technical Analyst, to join high-performing and fast paced ICT cyber security team.
About the role:
- 5 years’ experience conducting security risk assessments covering Azure Cloud, Legacy ICT systems and applications within a Governance Risk and Compliance role.
- Experience in reviewing and providing guidance on application and system designs relating to PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight
- Liaising with non-technical and technical stakeholders in relation to cyber security issues, system risks and recommendations.
- Presenting risk assessments and findings to senior executive audience.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve the security posture of the department’s environment.
About you:
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Has sound judgement and the ability to work under pressure with limited supervision to produce high quality outcomes.
- Awareness of and ability to anticipate and communicate the impacts of security risks.
Location and Contract Term
This role is being offered to those in Canberra, ACT. Initial contract for 12 months and high chance to be extended.
Security Requirements
Our Government Client require applicants must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 and candidate will be required to maintain a clearance at this level.
Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment screening checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.
