Job Expectations
We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as the Cyber Resilience Manager reporting to the Executive Manager IT Security Controls, Secure Development and Resilience.
A bit about your role
As a Cyber Resilience Manager, you will be responsible for driving Cyber resilience and response practices in the Systems Engineering and Operations (SEO) division of nbn. This will include the assessment and validation of existing Cyber resilience and response practices, identification of improvement areas and attack surface reduction opportunities, as well as ongoing governance of remediation activities. This role will see you collaborating with stakeholders across SEO and wider nbn teams to understand business security requirements and ensure security resilience and attack surface reduction outcomes are achieved and balanced with business outcomes. You are to ensure that work effort and resources are focussed on areas of highest priority via remediation of business risk.
A bit about you
You will bring best practices to nbn by leveraging your strong technical background including superior security expertise and external industry perspectives. The successful candidate will likely possess significant experience in a Senior IT Security, incident response or resilience role gained in a large complex organisation. You have demonstrated experience working with stakeholders from across IT and third-party service providers.
Given the level of stakeholder responsibilities of the role, the successful candidate will have a strong ability to communicate, influence, and engage a variety of key internal and external stakeholders. Further, experience successfully implementing and navigating operational change management initiatives is preferred.
