We will do this by embedding our values to lead the organisation with a focus on safer gambling and good business practices.Our properties across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sydney are world-class with many award-winning hotels, restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues.As our Cyber Resilience Operations Analyst reporting to the Head of Cyber Operations, you will be responsible for the day-to-day functions of The Stars Cyber Resilience Operations team which includes: Cyber incident assessment, triage, and investigation, Proactive vulnerability assessment and running Corporate cyber awareness programs.This is a fantastic opportunity where you will be overseeing and reporting on cyber threats while ensuring adherence to The Star Entertainment Group's Code of Conduct, internal policies, and regulatory standards. The role requires a vigilant eye on compliance with both internal protocols and external regulations, ensuring the organisation remains secure and aligned with governance mandates.A few of your responsibilities:
- Analysis, investigation and response to potential cyber threats
- Respond to cyber queries from internal customers
- Gather, collate, analyse and present threat intelligence to Head of Cyber Operations
- Deployment of simulated phishing campaigns
- Collate, deploy, and action information asset access reviews
- Work closely with our 24/7 monitoring team to continually improve The Star's defensive cyber capabilities.
- Broad hands-on technology experience including the following:
- Windows and/or Linux system administration
- Familiarity with IP networking protocols and principles
- Experience with Microsoft 365, including Defender suite
- Experience working with SIEM platform query languages (SPL/KQL)
- Quick study, with the ability to learn new about new concepts, technologies and systems at pace.
- Accredited tertiary qualifications in an Information Technology, Business, or a related industry certification
- Demonstrated ability to prepare presentations and reports
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across business and technology staff
- Demonstrated ability to understand and manage process documentation
