As the Manager in Cyber Security Engineering, we’d like you to help us continually lift our game.

What the role will involve:

You’ll be leading a growing Cyber security engineering team, ensuring the organisation continually uplifts its ability to deal with the everchanging complexity of threats. You’ll partner with several stakeholders to make sure Cyber security risks are identified and adequate protections are in place and aligned to strategy and chosen frameworks.

You’ll be providing the leadership, direction, and guidance on ensuring operational services run smoothly through exceptional management of internal stakeholders and proactive management of protective controls, so they remain effective and relevant. Working with your team ensure new capabilities and controls delivered by the Cyber Program are operationalised and appropriate to manage Cyber security risk while providing your guidance and feedback to project team’s on their delivery.

About you

There are a few things that we’ll look for on your CV. Ideally, you’ll have a tertiary qualification or a degree in an ICT or Project Management-related field. You’ll have considerable experience managing an operational team who configure and implement Cyber security controls. On top of this, you’ll also have considerable exposure to business planning, system analysis and GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance). Throw in your experience with cyber architecture and engineering, and you’re good to go.
