About the role
The Cyber Security Lead plays an important role in protecting us from security threats by protecting our data and information, security monitoring, auditing and compliance and responding to incidents. In the role, you will lead the development and implementation of a Cyber Security roadmap, policies and procedures together with assessing risks and driving improvements in our security.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Champion and lead the implementation of Cyber Security initiatives
- Provide leadership, specialist advice and guidance on current, evolving and emerging Cyber Security threats
- Manage, respond to, and lead technical investigations of Cyber Security events and incidents
- Proactively drive and implement effective mitigation for cyber threats and incidents
- Build organisational wide Cyber Security awareness, education, and maturity
- Manage, design and implement effective security policy for new and existing security platforms and tools

About you
To be successful in this role you will be a proactive problem solver with excellent customer service skills along with:
- Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or extensive experience in Cyber Security
- The ability to align ICT strategy with organisational business goals and objectives
- Competency in Cyber Security response, support, operations, and risk management
- Comprehensive understanding of security control domains, information security standards and frameworks
- Project management and delivery of security projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
About the benefits
This is a fulltime permanent position, Level 8 with a salary between $121,294 and $136,864 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
