Cyber Security Lead (Part-Time)

Our client is seeking a Cyber Security Lead on a PART-TIME basis to join their team in Canberra. You will need to possess a flexible approach and work collaboratively with the Commonwealth and the other service providers contracted to the Commonwealth. 

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to): 

• Provide Information Cyber Security subject matter expertise advice and guidance to the Project Office
• Provide Minutes from meetings;
• Contribute to risk workshops to identify security risks;
• Provide knowledge transfer sessions to Commonwealth personnel at the direction of the Project Manager; and
• Undertake other tasks related to their service category as necessary at the direction of the Project Manager.
• In addition to the contract activities and activities outlined above, the Service Provider may be tasked, at the Commonwealth’s discretion, with additional functions and/or activities that arise. These functions and/or activities will be agreed on a case-by-case basis prior to any decision to proceed. 
• Demonstration of knowledge and experience is system security, cyberworthiness, and security certification;
• Demonstration of ability to work with contractors and stakeholders to achieve resolution of issues.

Deliverables: 

• Develop Approved plans and documentation in accordance with project schedule;
• Provide Monthly Progress Reports (1–2-page report of tasks conducted, highlights including risks and issues, ongoing tasks, forecast tasks (3+ months)) to be submitted as part of the monthly invoice or directly to the EM or PM;
• Provide signed minutes from meetings in a timely fashion,
• Review Project security documentation and update previously developed gap analysis of Project compliance with ISM;
• Engage Assessment Authority to ensure Project's proposed updates to documentation is acceptable to ISM 2022 requirements;
• Update security documents to meet ISM 2022 requirements;
• Finalise ECS Certification and Accreditation Plan. This Plan has been drafted and now requires stakeholder engagement to finalise;
• Develop Cyber Security Plan; and

Contract until 30th June 2025
 
Engagement: 
PART-TIME - 100 Days Total 

Rate Range (per hour ex GST including Super):
$120-130 per hour

Security Requirements
You must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Security Clearance.
