Job Description
Aurora Dairies are currently seeking multiple Dairy Cattle Farmers in the Mt Gambier region, South Australia. Our farms are located in Tantanoola, Eight Mile Creek, Kongorong and Mount Schank. The successful candidates will have a passion for the dairy industry and have experience in assisting the management team in managing a dairy operation. The successful candidates will have demonstrated skills and experience in the following areas:Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating ProceduresAnimal Health and Record ManagementAll aspects of milking and general farm dutiesFeeding of cattleAnimal HusbandryPasture ManagementMachinery operationRepairs and maintenance.
Qualifications
The successful candidates will have a passion for the dairy industry and have experience in assisting the management team in managing the dairy operation.The desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:Minimum 5 years of dairy industry experienceBachelor's degree in AgricultureCommitted to ensuring a safe workplaceReliable and punctualGood work ethic and positive attitudeTeam player.
