We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time furniture Sales Manager to head our stunning Melbourne Gallery located in Collingwood, VIC.
We are looking for the right person with a minimum of 7+ years' experience selling luxury, high-end furniture, who has excellent communication skills and a passion for design.
Job Description
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service in line with Daniel Boddam brand values.
- Confidence to develop and maintain specialist knowledge of the Daniel Boddam range of furniture.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving sales targets and driving business KPIs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to network and build relationships with both retail customers and A&D clientele.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to manage other staff members.
- Decision making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to client deadlines.
- An appetite to succeed and identify growth-opportunities for business in the Melbourne market.
- A passion for design, interiors, and architecture, with relevant experience in these fields.
- Tertiary education in a relevant field and CAD experience is also highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing Melbourne clients through a high level of customer service, considered verbal and written communication, via phone, email, in-person showroom consultations and A&D appointments.
- Assist in the analysis and execution of the business development strategy and framework for the Melbourne/VIC market.
- Co-ordinate a Daniel Boddam decoration package for retail customers.
- Respond to trade enquiries – generate quotes/orders and follow up enquiries and sales leads.
- Co-ordinate and manage orders from receipt of payment to production and logistics (delivery and installation service by third party providers).
- After-sales service – including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Assist with hosting in-showroom trade evenings and new-release presentations.
- Showroom housekeeping and merchandising.
- Database upkeep.
- Organise samples in/out.
- Manage sample library inventory.
