Reporting to the ANZ General Manager, based in our head office in Rydalmere, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. As the Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the actively engage in the planning, development, and delivery of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, from initial conception to implementation. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders to understand and analyse BI needs, providing input for BI solution design and quality metrics, and designing comprehensive dashboards and reports. You will be bringing your experience to improve our current process and systems. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage SQL development projects.
  • Solution integration with ERP, CRM, BI and other systems.
  • Budget Preparation
  • Setup Customers, Agencies, Products at ERP, CRM and BI, 
  • Analyse data and trends in datasets.
  • Understand existing and write new SQL .
  • Maintain SQL data base instances will be required.
  • Manage and improve BI reporting functions within its capabilities in all areas of the business.
  • Report updates and outcomes to management.
  • Scoping, creating, testing, and implementing additional BI reports as tabled and required.
  • Ensure all DB systems documentation is UpToDate is maintained.
  • Solution integration with ERP, CRM, BI and other systems.
  • Microsoft application skills e.g. MS Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Project, etc.
  • Development and maintenance of existing Microsoft Visual Studio project and solution files.
  • Maintenance of existing SQL Server databases and solution files.
  • Setup Customers, Agencies, Products at ERP, CRM and BI. 

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Data analysis, Software engineering, database programming, business degree or similar SQL and T-SQL development skills
  • Experience with;
    • CRM (Sales Force suitable)
    • Microsoft Visual Studio development
    • SSIS and SSRS
    • Integration Experience with Web Services and/or API’s 
  • Proven high level knowledge, understanding, and experience coordinating and delivering on strategic activities in a complex environment, ideally within the distribution industry.
  • Proven ability to write complex SQL, manipulate and analyse data using various tools (including SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), MS Analysis Services MS Excel), and present the results in dynamic & well considered formats using data visualisation tools (e.g. Phocas).
  • Advanced project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent complex projects (end to end), to provide high-level advice and review and re-engineer complex systems and processes.
  • Business analyst experience.
  • Data analysis skills.
  • Associate Level - SQL-related Credentials, Data Management, and Analytics.
  • Salesforce Experience an advantage. 
  • Phocas experience will be highly regarded.
  • Able identify trends in data through analysis for BI reporting
  • Rights to work in Australia
