AddressOur client the NSW Department of Education are hiring for a highly capable Data Analyst to join the organisation. You would be joining the wider School Infrastructure Division, within the Asset Activation branch.
Role Title: Data Analyst
Start Date: 26/09/22
End Date: 30/06/23 - possible extension.
Pay: $545 excluding super per day.
Location: WFH Hybrid/ Sydney CBD (2 days a week in the office).
Description:
Key accountabilities:
- Undertake data analysis and reporting to support the achievement of strategic priorities and departmental objectives.
- Prepare and provide timely, accurate and responsive advice on key data trends and insights to support informed, evidence-based decision making.
- Collaborate, liaise and engage with a range of stakeholders to facilitate data collection and analysis across a range of projects and initiatives.
- Develop, maintain and review current processes, procedures and related documentation and recommend improvements to support alignment with best practice methodologies and standards.
- Identify and assess risks and issues and contribute to improvements in systems, tools and processes to support enhanced data collection and analysis.
- Contribute to the preparation of high-quality reports, research, briefings and other correspondence to meet business needs and priorities and ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
- Participate in specialised projects and initiatives that build cultural awareness, trust and mutual respect in line with the department's core values and objectives.
About You:
- Microsoft Power BI, Office 365 experience.
- Power Automate experience is desirable.
- 3 years of Data Analyst experience as a minimum.
Candidates must be based in the Greater Sydney Area.
Candidates must be vaccinated against COVID-19.
