About the role
Working within the IT Enterprise Application and Development Team, you will report to the Team Lead, IT Development. This is an exciting role that will offer information and process analysis for Strategic Insights and Operational Enhancement.
This is a highly visible role that will see you providing these insights derived from data analysis to guide strategic business decisions, enhance processes and systems based on data-driven recommendations and provide effective solutions!
Duties
- Stakeholder Management between business users, stakeholders and technical team.
- Data Governance Policy Development and Implementation with Information Privacy Protection
- Thorough Requirement Collection, System Analysis, and Collaborative Strategy
- Solution Design and Recommendation
- Reporting Enhancement and Data Integrity Oversight
- Integrated Data Management and Advanced Analysis; Data Visualisation and Analysis for Decision-Making
- Training in Data Skills and Best Practices

Skills and Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in an IT Data and Business Analyst role
- Proficiency in data and process analysis encompassing data modelling & concepts, alongside an analytical mindset for problem-solving
- Experience identifying, gathering, and documenting business requirements. Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- T-SQL scripting skills - Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (Stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes and constraints)
- Experience with requirement management software like JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools for documenting and managing requirements
- Solid applied knowledge in software development principles and best practices
