About the role
Exciting opportunity to play a key role in the migration and consolidation of our large suite of reports from our existing platforms into new technologies.
Prior to the migration, you will be responsible for the maintenance and creation of a large suite of internal and client-facing reports across a range of technologies, primarily Microsoft Excel / VBA and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
In addition, you will use one of Australia’s largest mortgage datasets in order to provide forecasting and assist in operational management, working closely with the Service Delivery team.
It is anticipated that your duties will include but not be limited to:
• Ensure existing automated reporting is accurate and distributed according to required schedules
• Review and implement change requests to existing reports
• Provide forecasting and analysis of client volume data in order to help with operational management
• Creation of new reports according to requirements provided by internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with the on-boarding of new clients
• Work with the technology team to research, select, design and implement modern and dynamic reporting solutions
• Work with the Service Delivery team in the production and distribution of client governance packs
About you
This role will require you to manage your own workflow effectively, completing assigned tasks within agreed timescales.
You will be able to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
You will have superior written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to translate and present complex data to stakeholders in previous roles.
Required Skills | Experience:
• The ability to create clear and professional reports, procedures and other documentation
• Demonstrated professional experience with Microsoft Excel, including advanced report generation, forecasting and VBA development
• Experience with Report Design/ Data visualisation/ Dashboarding
• Advanced SQL Database skills
• Minimum 2 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
• Microsoft Power BI desirable
• Experience in the home loan / mortgage broking / banking sectors would be beneficial
