With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hour's drive from the CBD, Melbourne's North is fast becoming the place to be!The Role:An exciting opportunity exists for a Data and Integration Manager to join the team at Northern Health.The Data and Integration Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Data and reporting infrastructure under the responsibility of the Decision Support unit at Northern Health. The role will lead the administration of the data warehouse and be responsible for managing the various integration and application solutions that support the Decision Support unit. The role will work closely with the Analytics and Reporting team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data loaded through the data warehouse, whilst ensuring system reporting and functionality is maintained.The role will manage the Decision Support systems team, which includes the Clinical Costing and Finance system functions. The role will require a strong understanding of database administration and detailed technical knowledge, with experience in cloud technologies, case-mix, funding and clinical costing principles an advantage.To be successful in this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Technology, Health Information Management or related discipline
- Strong understanding of SSAS, SSIS, SSMS, PHP, PowerBI and Database Administration
- Previous exposure to, and involvement in, the development of medium scale multi user computer-based systems and data warehouse management
- Experience in managing a team of information technology professionals
- Sound analytical skills and high level of information technology knowledge
- Ability to interpret large volumes of Data and give recommendations
- Demonstrated time management capabilities and ability to work to a deadline
- Minimum 3 years' experience in equivalent role
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Products with particular reference to access and excel. VBA knowledge would also be an advantage
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience using Microsoft Azure / Power Platform and experience in the process and analysis of clinical costing datasets would be an advantage
