Purpose of the role:
The Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data
platforms leveraging Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and other cutting-edge technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, real-time integrations, and experience building Data Lakes.

Skills & Resposibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data platforms using Microsoft Azure services including Azure Blob, AKS, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Utilize Databricks (PySpark/Python) for building scalable data solutions.
- Implement real-time data integrations and CI/CD pipelines using Kafka, Azure Functions,
- ADF, and Flink.
- Lead the design and development of Data Lakes on Databricks.
- Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL procedures using PL/SQL and T-SQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture requirements and ensure
- they align with business objectives.
- Ensure data platform solutions are scalable, secure, and meet performance requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and
- continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into
- the architecture as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in data platform architecture and engineering.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services (Azure Blob, AKS, ADF).
- Proficient in Databricks, especially using PySpark and Python.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with real-time data streaming and CI/CD pipelines using Kafka, Azure Functions, ADF, and Flink.
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing Data Lakes on Databricks.
- In-depth understanding of PL/SQL and T-SQL with proven ability to write and debug complex SQL procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
