Data & Integration Engineer

Are you ready to start the new year off with an exciting new Permanent Opportunity working with a Brisbane leader with the Learning Industry's Sector!
We are seeking a Data & Integration Engineer to work with this cohesive technology team to build and maintain datasets and integrations using tools and technologies to build repositories in Azure Data Lakes.
This role focuses heavily on solution design, leading technical projects, operational support and problem management.
Ideally, you will be comfortable with a hybrid on-premises and cloud platform with a future focused, data driven, cloud-first ideology and you key responsibilities will include:

• Identify how the business will use data from disparate systems and use this to integrate our systems to maximise value
• Implement new data repositories and integrations for projects
• Research and advise leadership of new and relevant software development, tools, and methods
• Provide high level technical analysis of systems and services and liaise with clients to provide effective solutions to technical problems
• Lead and manage small to medium technical projects and teams day-to-day.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following key areas of technical capability and personable attributes:

• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Data Integration Services
• Azure SQL
• MS SQL Server including Azure SQL
• Experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional databases between disparate business units and systems
• Demonstrated ability to develop solution design, technical project management, operational support, and problem management
• Experience in providing professional learning and leading small technical teams
• High-level verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and build positive relationships within the team and broader organisation
• Passionate about data with changing digital data trends and continuous improvement.
• Qualifications Tertiary qualifications (Degree or Diploma) in Information Technology
