About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Data Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a strong attention to detail. This role involves accurately capturing and entering data into various systems, ensuring data integrity, and supporting our organisation's Data Management needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter data into internal and external systems.
  • Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
  • Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
  • Test system changes and upgrades by inputting new data and reviewing output.
  • Secure information by completing database backups.
  • Maintain operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
  • Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Proven experience as a data entry operator or similar role.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high volume of data without compromising accuracy.
  • Familiarity with administrative duties.
  • Ability to pass a practical Excel test.
  • Demonstrated data entry skills with extreme attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a non-profit organisation.
