You will be working for a mid-sized federal government department.
Your new role
As the Data Modeller, you will be part of a team that is working on a project to integrate a number of source systems to better enable business reporting and analytics.
What you'll need to succeed
- The ability to capture and model data requirements, data definitions, metadata, business rules, data quality requirements, and logical and physical data models;
- Understanding of data modelling schemes and techniques;
- Understanding of data modelling requirements in a data warehouse context, including relational and dimensional modelling practices;
- Develop data modelling standards that provide guiding principles to meet business requirements and ensure the quality of data;
- Use data modelling tools to build various types of data models (conceptual, logical and physical).
- Experience in Erwin would be desirable.
- You must be an Australian citizen and will possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a Baseline level personnel security clearance.
