Reporting to the Data and Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for, the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to inform critical business decisions. This includes data cleaning, statistical analysis, and the development of machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean and pre-process data in preparation for analysis.
- Utilise your statistical analysis skills to identify trends and uncover patterns in the collected data sets.
- Develop and implement machine learning models using regression, clustering and classification to problem solve.
- Forecast future trends and drive data predictions using predictive modelling techniques.
- Showcase your advanced data visualisation skills via expert presentations to steer business decision making.
- Deploy and monitor models in the production environment.
Skills Required:
- 3-5 years of Data Scientist or directly related experience
- Proficiency in and/or familiarity of Microsoft Azure, Azure: Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Machine Learning, HDInsight, Cosmos DB, DevOps.
- Advanced data analytics in collection, cleaning and exploratory analysis.
- Experienced statistical modelling skills to formulate business strategies.
- Demonstrated success in machine learning algorithms and model development.
- Fluent in programming languages: Python and/or R preferred.
- Experience in creating data visualisations using Power BI or other tools.
- Proven ability to design and conduct hypothesis tests for data validation.
- A/B Testing knowledge ideal.
- Examples of Natural Language Processing skills in text analysis and processing.
- Familiarity with Big Data platform and Cloud Technologies eg. Azure Data Lake, Data Lake Analytics, Synapse Analytics, Stream Analytics, Event Hub, IoT Hub and Data Factory.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar discipline.
- Microsoft Azure certifications
