About the role
As a Data Scientist Intern you will be working under the Head of Data Science and Analytics, helping on an internal research project.
As this role is both functional / technical, you will need to possess skills to understand business problems and convert them into solutions. You will work with some of the newest technology platforms, this will require you to explore and experiment with them.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and refinement of ML Models
- Analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and inform company strategies.
- Work on identifying and defining business use cases for machine learning applications across various company functions.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science and machine learning.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Python, with strong skills in machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn and pandas.
- Expertise in SQL for extracting data from data warehouses efficiently and accurately.
- Familiarity with MLflow for managing the machine learning lifecycle, including experimentation, reproducibility, and deployment.
- Ability to understand, manage and manipulate complex data.
- Strong communication. Ability to articulate complex problems/solution for senior stakeholder to understand.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Requirements gathering.
- Quick learner with attention to detail.
This internship will be remote (work from home) with the possibility of having regular physical catch ups.
