Apply your reporting and data analysis experience to support the University’s Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing program. 

About the Position
As Data Warehouse ETL Developer you work within the Business Intelligence Team in the Planning and Performance Unit and are responsible for the planning and development of the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data for the University’s Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing program. Your role will also involve analysis which underpins the conversion of business requirements to a functional data model for reporting and analytics.

Your previous experience with dimensionally modelled Data Warehouse environments and ETL / the building of system and data integration using data integration tools will strengthen your application. You will be a skilled communicator, with the ability to convey complex technical ideas effectively to technical and business analysts, and to effectively interpret the requirements of business analysts.

About You
To be successful, you will require:


•    A degree, preferably in computing or information systems discipline; with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education and training.
•    Significant experience with dimensionally modelled Data Warehouse environments. 
•    Significant experience with ETL or the building of system and data integration using data integration tools. 
•    Experience working with Azure SQL Server and Azure Data Factory.
•    A demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical ideas effectively to technical and business analysts and to effectively interpret the requirements of business analysts. 
•    A demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in order to meet competing deadlines. 
•    A demonstrated ability to work both within a team and autonomously.
•    Proven expertise in data visualisation techniques and utilisation of data visualisations tools such as Tableau.
•    Experience with the data and information landscape of the Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training sectors in Australia.

Remuneration 
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 7. The base salary will be in the range of $91,642 – $100,594 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $107,221 - $117,694 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
