ABOUT THE ROLE
As a key member of the compact yet expanding Technology team and reporting to the Data and Analytics Manager, you will lead various database projects end to end. Whilst also provide maintenance and support to the database environment. You will have strong technical hands on experience with databases, scripting SQL, Python and ETL experience. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a great organisation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing and implementing databases that meet business requirements;
- Lead in Developing and optimising database queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data manipulation and retrieval;
- Partner with business to create reports, dashboards, and data visualisations to improve data value
and accessibility; - Ensuring applications are integrated securely and effectively with database systems;
- Provide performance tuning measures to optimise speed and efficiency.
- Strong Data Analyst experience with 3 years experience within large-scale and complex environments;
- Strong database experience and knowledge working with Microsoft databases and BI tools;
- Strong experience with ETL, TSQL and Python;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact.
