Database Developer

Join our client, a leading Utilities provider, as a Database and Python Developer, where you'll spearhead Data Warehouse and Data Modelling initiatives utilising Python in a developer capacity. You'll be pivotal in constructing robust data pipelines and ETL processes, as well as crafting applications crucial to business operations.
Your expertise in database development is paramount, backed by certification and advanced proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL. Your skillset extends to designing datamarts, data structures, and innovative data solutions. Alongside your database prowess, you possess advanced developer-level experience in Python, complemented by a proficiency in other technologies such as JavaScript and PHP/Apache.

Some Key responsibilities will include:

• Architecting, developing, and optimising Trading, Retail, and Analytics solutions.
• Offering day-to-day support for existing systems and databases, addressing Incidents and Service Requests.
• Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to decipher requirements and drive business objectives forward.
• Crafting bespoke applications, dynamic data visualisations, and interactive dashboards with real-time data integrations.
• Implementing development standards and frameworks, including modernising legacy applications using recommended technology stacks.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, Python, PHP/Apache, and Web Technologies, coupled with expertise in full stack frameworks and reporting tools.
• Demonstrable track record as a Database Developer, specializing in Oracle environments.
• Experience in developing solutions featuring real-time data integration and adaptable data dashboards.
• Proficiency in developing flexible data integration solutions to meet evolving business needs.
• Ability to work autonomously
