This is an exciting opportunity to join Hyundai Capital Australia (HCAU) during our foundational stages! HCAU is currently the consulting entity of Hyundai Capital Services Korea within Australia. We’re in the process of establishing a subsidiary in Australia to provide captive-finance services to Hyundai Motor Group (HMG). HMG is Korea's 2nd largest conglomerate focusing on automobiles, auto parts, finance and more.

Hyundai Capital is the financial arm of HMG and the primary goal of its overseas branches is to increase vehicle sales by providing a full spectrum of financial services. We’re growing our Sales team ready for launch and currently seeking our first-ever Dealer Account Manager - Western Region! You will be responsible for managing a dealer portfolio, driving the growth and ultimate success of our retail, wholesale and insurance sales performance. You will build strong relationships through communication and empathy and bring value into HCAU’s dealership network. You will have a huge impact on HCAU’s success by ensuring targets are achieved through your allocated dealer portfolio.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop & execute dealer acquisition strategies to develop and maintain a highly engaged dealer network, capable of supporting HCAU objectives.
  • Interact and influence a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Maximise growth and profitability of your portfolio (increase penetration within finance and insurance portfolio).
  • Develop and maintain multi-level relationships within the dealer portfolio adding strategic value and identifying opportunities to assist dealers increase vehicle sales through consistent dealer visits.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure business alignment such as credit, wholesale, marketing, product and sales training to ensure company objectives are achieved.
  • Be responsible for Finance product training in dealerships and undertake all associated system training.
  • Provide monthly portfolio updates on progress according to conversion, budgets and targets.

Your skills & experience:

  • Proven Territory/Account Management skills with a strong track record of success in sales role.
  • Exposure in a start-up environment or within Financial Services (Auto Finance).
  • A results driven strategic thinker & problem solver with the ability and willingness to be hands-on.
  • Ability and willingness to adapt to different conditions.
  • Reporting and analysis experience with strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer centric and able to build strong relationships with Dealerships.
  • Lending / Credit experience is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of the finance and motor vehicle industry, including Wholesale acquisition strategy experience.
  • Tertiary qualified in Business, Commerce or Finance (preferred, but not essential).
  • Current Driver’s License.
