We have a great opportunity for a customer focused Collection Officer & Commercial Agent to join our Debt Collection team in our Hobart office on a full-time basis. And if you don't have your Commercial Agents Licence, don't let that deter you. We will pay for and provide you with all the necessary time to complete the qualification and obtain your licence.

The person we are looking for will,

  • have previous experience in a debt collection, field agent work, accounts receivable, customer service or similar role

You will be responsible for,

  • developing and maintaining positive working relationships with clients & customers
  • conduct field calls to the customer's residence to discuss outstanding accounts
  • contacting clients in a proactive manner to ensure service levels are maintained
  • actioning overdue debtor files by phone and correspondence in a respectful manner
  • assessing accounts and recommending legal action where required
  • entering and maintaining accurate file notes
  • handling customer queries
  • processing credit card payments
  • meeting and exceeding KPI’s
