An opportunity exists for an individual to join our Supervisory Team in our award-winning department.
Individual must be prepared to work on a permanent 38-hour week roster, with a strong commitment to the organisation and the Deli team.
In this role we require applicant to have a minimum of 1 year deli hands on experience with the ability of using specialized equipment and knowledge & understanding of the variety of products within the deli department. Experience in a deli retail supermarket an advantage.
As a supervisor you must have effective professional communication skills, and a strong focus on customer service, with a passion to learn and grow with our organisation.
The successful applicant must also:
- provide continual support to senior managers and all staff.
- be responsible, reliable and self-motivated
- confident to implement and maintain strict product handling and inventory procedures
- coaching and assisting staff in their development
- monitor and implement Food Safety and OH&S standards
- assist in leading and supervising the team
Experience in a deli environment required, however supervisory experience is not essential.
