Here’s your chance to join us as a Delivery Driver, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient distribution of dry goods, fresh fruit, and milk to our corporate clients. By becoming a part of our team, you will directly contribute to the seamless operations that drives our success.
We’re looking to hire a Permanent Full Time Delivery Driverworking 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, starting at 4:00am. This position will set off from our warehouse located in Marrickville.
About the Role
- Drive company trucks in and around Sydney CBD and Sydney Metro to meet client delivery needs effectively
- Deliver and place goods within client fridges and storage areas, following the FIFO method
- Maintain accurate delivery records and monitor stock levels through proper documentation
- Ensure the company trucks are clean and well-maintained in appearance
- Act as a liaison between the company and clients by promptly addressing customer queries and communicating any relevant issues
About You
- Preferred 1 year experience in deliveries or warehousing roles
- Knowledge and delivery experience throughout Sydney Metro
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision
- Demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively, ensuring tasks are completed within designated time frames
- Display a proactive attitude, showing willingness to take initiative
- Competently operate a medium-sized delivery vehicle
Licenses & Safety Requirements
- Valid Australian drivers license
- Ability to obtain a police clearance
- Valid forklift license or ability to obtain
- High level of manual handling capability, including ability to lift approximately 20kg repeatedly
- Legally able to work unrestricted hours in Australia
- Ability to comply with NSW Government COVID-19 regulations to attend client sites.
