About the Position - Dental Assistant:
The successful candidate for the role of Dental Assistant would be reliable, organised, friendly, able to problem solve independently and happy to work in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate we will be offered training, attractive remuneration and flexible working hours in a supportive environment.
Roles and Responsibilities for the Dental assistant position will include but not limited to:
-Chair side assisting in various dental procedures
- Infection control and instrument sterilization
- Surgery and equipment maintenance
- Stocktaking
- Lab work and coordinating lab work
- Liaising with patients, dentists and other team members regarding patient care
- Excellent time management - ability to multitask
- Maintaining a clean working environment - cleaning instruments, equipment and environment
- Talk to patients, make patients feel comfortable
- Explain to patients different procedures, how to brush their teeth, different dental conditions
We are looking for in the successful Dental assistant candidate:
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Friendly and welcoming personality with a professional manner and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding work ethic and attention to detail - be punctual, reliable, honest, willing to learn and develop
- Like to maintain a good level of organisation and cleanliness
- Good command of English is essential and an ability to speak a second language Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) will be looked upon favourably
