Dental Assistant (Trainee Or Experienced)

Oceania Dental is looking for a motivated and enthusiasticDental Assistant to join their team on either a part-time or full-time basis. 

This role presents a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to establish a long-term career in a supportive and close-knit dental practice. Professional development and training will be provided to the successful applicant, making this an ideal position for a Trainee or qualified Dental Assistant.  

The position: 

As a Dental Assistant at Oceania Dental, you will be an integral part of their team, contributing to various aspects of patient care and clinic operations Your responsibilities will include.

• Chair-side assisting, including room setup/turn down.  
• Sterilisation and maintaining effective infection control.
• Greeting patients and making them feel relaxed in your care. 
• Reception duties and answering phone calls. 

Skills and Experience:

• Mature and responsible attitude, 
• Ability to empathise with our patients. 
• Well organised and well presented. 
• Excellent verbal skills. 
• Ability to work well in a team. 
• Ability to multi-task.
• A Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is preferred, or a willingness to undertake training.
